community site for Portswood, Highfield and nearby Southampton areas

We strive to
pick up on stories of interest and relevance to Portswood people as
they happen; about the ups and downs of Portswood High Street, local politics, local history, major development, the live music scene, community events and more.
If it happens in Portswood, or affects Portswood people - we are interested!
The stories we publish are open to comment and discussion by our
readers. We encourage all our visitors to share their experiences and responses
to local events and issues.
We receive no outside funding. We are not associated with any political
party or council organisation and the small amount of income generated
by the site goes to offset our running costs.
