Chessel Bay is just a little further downriver and is home to many waterfowl and other wildlife.
St Denys beach is a natural stop over for much of this wildlife when heading up or down river with the tides.
Increased traffic along this stretch may produce a decline in the rarer birds.
If the boardwalk is to be constructed then I hope some environmental landscaping is also to be considered!
